Molly Caudery
We proudly welcome Molly Caudery to #TeamESSX. Molly represents Great Britain and N.I. and has been on the world stage for the majority of her young and already outstanding career. Her first time wearing the Great Britain vest was at the 2017 European Athletics u20 Championships where she placed second, clearing 4.35m/14’3.25″. Her very next season she saw improvements and donning the same Great Britain vest, she placed 5th at her first senior championship, the Commonwealth Games, clearing 4.40m/14’5.25″. In 2019, Molly briefly spent some time in the USA to continue training, however, the pandemic brought her back home and she has continued to see outstanding success. In 2021, she claimed the silver at the European Athletics u23 Championships and improved her PB to 4.51m/14’9.25″ and not long after, claimed silver in her second appearance at the Commonwealth Games. Just last year, she was selected to compete for Great Britain at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest and cleared a new PB of 4.75m/15’7″ placing 5th in the strongest field the women’s pole vault has ever seen.
In the early 2024 season, Molly has been on a roll, in four competitions, she’s cleared 4.75m/15’7″ or higher and currently holds the world lead at her new PB of 4.86m/15’11.5″. Molly won gold at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow with a clearance of 4.80m/15’9″. In June of 2024, Molly became just the 13th woman to ever clear 4.88m/16’0″ with a clearance of 4.92m/16’1.5″. She lives and trains in England.
