Kristen Brown
From Columbia, Maryland, Kristen Brown has joined #TeamESSX. Kristen began her collegiate career at Virginia Tech University before transferring to San Diego State. While in college, Kristen was a 2-time All-American with SDSU as well as a 4-time Mountain West Champion in the pole vault (once indoors, three times outdoors). Not only was KB a great college pole vaulter, she was also a phenomenal hurdler and sprinter. She competed in the indoor and outdoor hurdles as well as the 100 meter and 200 meter races while at SDSU. After college, she trained at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California where she cleared her current PB of 4.70m/15’5”. KB now trains in High Point, North Carolina with fellow #TeamESSX member Robin Bone.
