Austin Miller

Austin Miller joins #TeamESSX from Herndon, Virginia. Attending college at High Point University, Austin didn’t see great success in the pole vault until well after college. With a collegiate best of 5.25m/17’2.25″, made clearing 5.60m/18’4.5″ a regular occurence. 2020 was his breakout  year with a jump of 5.73m/18’9.75″ and has seen yearly improvements. Since 2020, Austin has been over 5.70m/18’8″.25″ 31 times and over 5.80m/19’0.25″ 9 times. Most recently, Austin won the 2025 USA Outdoor Championships with a PB clearance of 5.92m/19’5.25″ in Eugene, OR and made his first Team USA. Austin currently calls home High Point, NC and trains with Scott Houston and splits time in Jonesboro, AR with legendary Earl Bell.
