Michael Carr

From Jonesboro, Arkansas, Michael Carr grew up surrounded by some of the greatest pole vaulters in United States history. Michael spent many years watching the great Earl Bell and the pole vault disciples of Bell Athletics and he is following in their footsteps. Michael attended Arkansas State and had a breakthrough senior year finishing 5th at the 2019 NCAA Championships with a PB and school record of 5.70m/18’8.25”. Unfortunately, the novel coronavirus cut Michael’s first post-collegiate season short, keeping him from continuing on that path of success. Michael continues to live and train in Jonesboro, AR.
