Robeilys Peinado

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Team Essx Elite athlete Robeilys “Ruby”, has been an international representative for Venezuela since 2013 where she won the World Youth Championships and the Bolivarian Games and claimed Silver at the Pan Am Junior Championships. Since 2015, Ruby has competed as a senior athlete and claimed gold in the South American Championships.

In 2016, she won Silver at the World U20 Championships and she claimed Bronze in the 2017 IAAF World Championships with a then-PB of 4.60m / 15’1”. At the 2019 World Championships in Doha, Ruby cleared a new PB of 4.70m/15’5” for a 7th place finish. That mark is a National/Area Record to match her indoor National/Area record of 4.78m/15’9.25”. Ruby lives and trains in Poland with her coach Vyacheslav Kalinichenko.
