Valentin Lavillenie

Team Essx Elite athlete Valentin Lavillenie of Barbezieux-Saint-Hiliare, France has now joined #TeamESSX. Valentin has represented his home country of France at two World Championships (Russia in 2013, London in 2017, and Doha in 2019), the 2013 U23 European Championships and the 2015 European Indoor Championships. In 2021, Valentin captured the silver medal at the European Indoor Championships in Torun, Poland with a clearance of 5.80m/19’0.25”. Later that year, Valentin represented France yet again at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. In the early 2022 season, Valentin placed 4th at the World Indoor Championships with a new PB of 5.85m/19’2.5”.
